This beautiful custom barn started with a desire from the owners for a more utilitarian space to use for a variety of functions, from family gatherings to a training space for farmworkers from their on-site plant nursery. As you can see, it turned out anything but utilitarian. Once we started designing, master builder Pat Huske added his expertise, and the owners began thinking & dreaming of what could be… The project took off and became a beautifully crafted space to entertain, work, teach, or just relax in.

 Modern Farmhouse - Custom Home - Hillsboro, OR

This single-level Modern Farmhouse home is located in Hillsboro, Oregon, on an actual farm - or rather a working plant stock nursery.

Featuring a large, open interior living/dining/kitchen area that opens to a large covered patio area complete with a see-through fireplace and a custom fire pit seating area, this home is the true embodiment of indoor-outdoor living.

South Jordan, Utah - Custom Home

Working with another outstanding client, this modern farmhouse-style home is located in West Jordan, Utah. This home features several unique elements. One of our favorite elements is the large pantry/workroom, which comes complete with wrap-around stainless steel counters and a commercial-style dishwashing unit. The owners also wanted a TV/family room connected to the spacious kitchen. However, they also had a dog that they didn’t want wandering into the kitchen. The solution - a Dutch door between the kitchen and family room, which allows for the top half to be open, and a pair of glass doors to the main hallway to allow for light but retain privacy and the dog. A win-win for everyone! Other features include an attached RV garage for the owner’s camper van, a spacious main-floor master retreat, a full apartment in the basement, a large exercise room downstairs, a huge craft room upstairs, and so much more!
